Chalfonts Tearoom - South Norfolk

New shop opened! Very nice savoury cream tea with cheese £6.25!!! It’s very Norfolk style. Outside hidden table is so nice.

23 people having a private event at Chalfonts Tea Room's new premises in Bond Street, Hingham. Absolutely Smashing. Great food. Very well presented. Reasonably priced. More of a cafe than tea room but could easily be much better. Ample tea in the pot and the scones were delicious served with a tasty raspberry jam. Friendly staff. Parking on road

Went to local camp site to see if we like it.we where recommended to the tea room. We found it just before closing time but they still cooked me a full English breakfast hot buttered scones and a huge piece of walnut cake, tea and flat white coffee They had a table near the door where we could sit with our dog. The food was great the staff where great and the price was great, they will even delivered to the caravan site up the road. Just a 5 star place. 21 06 2022

Stopped in for all day breakfast with a friend and my pooch. Cafe was cold, nearly as cold as the lady that served us. No greeting on arrival- is good afternoon a difficult thing to say to your customers? I would like to think that a dog friendly cafe would be friendly to our 4 legged friends. My little well behaved pooch was looked at in disgust. Breakfast was overpriced- good sausages apart from that very disappointing. Will definitely not be returning- such a shame as very local for me.
