Root Bone - South Miami

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit last night. The angel biscuits were absolutely heavenly! The regular grits side dish was excellent as well. I've always liked the deviled eggs, but I wish they came in a set of four instead of three—it's not ideal for sharing with a partner. Odd numbers just don't work well for that! I really liked the shrimp and grits, especially because of the andouille sausage that was mixed in—just the right amount. My dining companion loved the succotash that came with the chicken under the brick entrée, although she wasn't as fond of the chicken itself. Our server, Leon, did a fantastic job.

The ambiance and aesthetics of this restaurant are outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. Robert, our bartender, was very attentive and offered excellent recommendations. I really enjoy spending my afternoons here, especially taking advantage of their happy hour menu. I highly recommend it—10 out of 10!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and it was wonderful. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. It was the ideal place for the occasion.

We ordered Grandma's biscuits, which were fantastic, and the deviled eggs, which were equally delicious. For the main course, we had salmon, which was very good, and a generous portion of shrimp and grits—I've got plenty left over for dinner! We also sampled the incredible pumpkin soup as a starter, which was outstanding. Parking was convenient since it was lunch hour, the service was excellent, and the outdoor seating was lovely with a nice breeze and fans to keep us comfortable. I will definitely be coming back!

I had one of the best dining experiences of my life! Our server, Robert, was exceptional, and Chef Chris took the time to generously and enthusiastically explain one of the dishes we ordered. The lamb chops were absolutely among the best meals I've ever tasted! We also savored the rainbow trout, which was amazing. Their signature drink, the Strawberry Lady, was exquisitely presented. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and offers a warm and welcoming ambiance.
