St Barnabas Hospice Cafe

This coffee shop and restaurant is fantastic. It is always clean and has a friendly atmosphere, with delicious coffee and tea. The cakes are scrumptious and moist, especially the carrot cake (gluten-free too!). The coffee is robust yet smooth, but you can request it to be less strong if you prefer. It doesn't give off a 'charity shop' vibe at all, but rather feels like a pleasant place to visit.

Excellent food service, cleanliness was to a high standard with all the correct covid requirements. We would definitely recommend this coffee shop with it’s very welcoming staff.

I went to the cafe whilst shopping with family and had an excellent experience. There was great coffee, and a wide choice of delicious snacks for all ages, my daughter loved the hot chocolate! The cafe was sparkly clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, it’s a real gem in the centre of town and we will definitely be coming back again and again.

We were delighted to find this lovely little cafe. Delicious quiche, And I wish I knew her name but a lovely friendly lady at the counter who could not have been more helpful.
