I ordered the crab cakes, fries, and slaw, and everything was delicious! The homemade tartar sauce was a delightful touch, and the fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The crab cakes themselves were fantastic! My sister had the shrimp and grits, but it wasn’t the traditional dish—it came as a fried cheese grit cake! I took a bite, and wow, that grit cake deserves to be offered as an appetizer because I would definitely order it! We also couldn't resist the schoolhouse rolls and ended up ordering more to take home! We had drinks and dessert as well. Our server, Molly, really made our visit special; she added that extra touch of warmth to our experience. One of the managers even stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which made it clear that they genuinely care about their guests and aren’t just focused on profits. As we were leaving, we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner’s mother for about 20 minutes about the beautiful building. We’ve already made plans to return and bring more friends with us because a place like this deserves to be shared! As for the price, we didn’t find it to be an issue, contrary to what some other reviews mentioned. We value delicious food, excellent customer service, and a lovely atmosphere—all in a casual setting. Sometimes, you just want a great meal without having to dress up, and this place did not disappoint! They truly deliver on all fronts!
