Over expensive and food extremely mediocre veggie Burgers were 10 pounds no sides no salads . Chip sides £4 extra burgers dry and bad . Staff can’t be faulted just chef

My partner and I stopped here for lunch on Sunday and were made aware by the lovely staff that the options were pizzas, seafood or a couple of ‘non-fishy’ options. I’ve never been a big fan of seafood but thought I’d give it a go…WOW! I am converted! Had a beautiful piece of John Dory and it was TO DIE FOR! All the staff were so welcoming and attentive and will definitely be coming back again…hopefully for more seafood!

We had a fantastic experience at this seafood restaurant on a Sunday. My partner and I enjoyed a delicious whole crab that was beautifully presented in the shell. The fresh salad and plentiful fries with a tasty garlic dip were also a hit. In addition to the great seafood, we highly recommend the cafe for breakfast as well. The service from the front of house staff was excellent - they were polite, attentive, and accommodating, even though it was a busy day and there was a bit of a wait. However, the taster paddle from their own brewery helped pass the time and we were more than happy with our experience overall. We can't fault this place and will definitely be returning in the future. Overall, it was great value for money.

The quality and presentation of the meals at this place have declined significantly. I ordered a burger meal with fries, but the salad that came with the burger was wilted and old. The service was slow and the waitress was both surly and rude. We used to enjoy coming here, but ever since the original staff left, the atmosphere and friendliness of the place have been lacking. It's disappointing to see this decline.

Came in on 16th of may 2023 and it started off okay, waited for a table at the desk and was seated very quickly! Ordered a chicken burger and fries, the lady who took my order who i recognise from the bear and blacksmith called Louisa was so rude, and seemed to be mistreating her colleagues, i was very disappointed by the new menu not containing the regular things such as the classic sandwiches! The blonde young girl, wearing a white skirt was a great waitress and looked after us all afternoon! It’s a shame that the place has been taken over by people who can’t even be welcoming to customers! Most likely won’t be returning. Used to love coming here, but it has definitely gone down hill since the bear and blacksmith has closed! Shame!
