Bidrage med feedbackI'm from Detroit, MI which is 10 minutes from Dearborn. Which has the largest middle eastern population in America. So the gyro I got from here was disappointing. The chicken was flavorful but there was no taziki sauce. Also, while I was eating lunch the inspector came in and was loudly telling the staff how many issues they had. This was disheartening since I was already eating. Apparently, the restaurant has repeatedly rescheduled their inspection and the inspector popped in. She advised the staff memeber that they were being ticketed and required to take a class on food handling. The inspector called her office while there and asked if she should shut them down. I will never be back here and hopefully if you think this is aunthentic middle eastern food you can visit Dearborn, MI one day and enjoy the real thing.
Burgers cooked to perfection! I Love the hookahs and varieties of organic tea. Amazing service. Food came out fast with amazing quality. If your in the area I would recommend the classic burger and the pear flavored hookah!
Delicious food!!! Grape/Mint Hookah is unbelievable!!!
This used to be Cafe 46, but is now under new management with a new menu serving Turkish Middle Eastern dishes with some American sides, loose leaf teas coffees and latest addition: authentic hookah to smoke on their new balcony. Loose leaf tea varieties are small, I think I counted 12 are in little boxes to see sniff a whiff at. For food, I've only tried their babaganoush which I felt was too garlicky, too overpowering that it wasn't true to taste. I haven't yet tried other foods during my times here since I mainly come for tea time... but worth a try soon. Teas come in a 3-4 serving pot with a cute curved glass tea cup served on a bamboo platter. I used to like Cafe 46's tea contraption where you have to top the pot on your cup to release the tea, but this has a nice presentation. Tea time is nice relaxing. Another great thing is it's open late! Wo0ot wo0ot! So0o lo0ong Starbies! Come for tea time pinkys up!
A perfect breakfast spot. The menu is traditionally Mediterranean (most Turkish), however the dishes can appeal universally, and are amazingly tasty. Very well made, full of flavors and delicious at core. Service was apt, although it seemed a bit rushed on a Sunday morning. Overall, a must visit for the area. Moreover it is an Halal joint, which can appeal to all people.
