The White Horse - South Gloucestershire

The White Horse Inn, located near the closed road leading to the second Severn Bridge, may be somewhat isolated but remains a charming country pub. Don't expect fancy food or drinks here, as the atmosphere is simple and traditional. The menu and offerings are basic but satisfying, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Thank you for the warm welcome at the restaurant. We greatly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning soon. The locals were all very friendly and made us feel right at home.

I stopped by for a quick drink and ended up staying the whole evening! The ambiance was fantastic. The staff were wonderful and the owner was very attentive. The food looked delicious and everyone appeared to be enjoying it. I will definitely be returning to try some soon.

3 of us called in for lunch(for food go into the bar on the right,which is the dining area) We were the only ones eating as it is a quiet place,a bit out of the way. It was clean! The barmaid gave us a nice welcome. 2 of us had sausage/egg/chips and 1 ham,egg and chips,very nice it was too. Well cooked and plenty of it. First time we have been for at least 6 months,we will not leave it so long next time. We would recommend. We had soft drinks so cannot comment on beer,etc.

Wipe your feet on the way out. Its like a dirty front room. Visited before for food and only ate (nervously) as no other option to feed kids at time. Food v average. Visited again on sunny day to give benefit of doubt. Nope still a hole. No draft beer.
