The service was decent and the prices were reasonable. However, the 4 seater table was too small for our party of 4, so we requested to be moved to a larger table. Unfortunately, the waitress did not handle our request well and made us feel guilty for asking.

Excellent food and really nice staff, would go again. Only one minor thing, would be nice if cocktails were delivered in cocktail glasses.

I have been here twice in the last month, once with family, the other with friends. The service has been very attentive but not too much. The food has been spot on. The dough balls are lovely!! It was nice and warm inside and a lovely atmosphere! Definitely recommend! I didn't get the name unfortunately, but the lady behind the bar with short brown hair she is a credit to the team! Very friendly and couldn't have provided better service.

Went to the Fox for dinner this evening with some of my family. Generally speaking this is a reliable choice. The menu is very typical of this style of family pub/restaurant, nothing exciting but reasonable standard fare. Our waitress, Emma, was very personable and joined in the conversation appropriately, service was good with the exception of having to repeat a request for one of our drinks, not, I hasten to add, her fault. Food was delivered in very acceptable time and was exactly as I expected. With a voucher for 30% off main dishes our bill was not exorbitant and we left very satisfied. This has generally been our experience over considerable years of using the restaurant and I would recommend it as a good drop in place for families.

Enjoyed a meal with friends who feel like family on 15/11/2023. We had a three-course meal, drinks, and coffee. The menu had plenty of options to choose from. The staff provided excellent service, going above and beyond. We also received a 30% voucher off our bill. Thank you for a job well done.
