The Acorn Cafe - South Gloucestershire

The restaurant, now known as ACORN WESTERLEIGH, has been completely transformed by Namek and Richard. It is now an Italian restaurant open from 8:30am to 2:30pm and 5pm to 10pm in the evenings, with a fantastic menu. A visit is highly recommended for everyone!

I had a very enjoyable breakfast at The Acorn. The two gentlemen who have been running the restaurant for a few months now are extremely kind and friendly. The latte I ordered was delicious and served hot. I also ordered eggs on toast, which was very tasty. I believe The Acorn will be very successful, so I highly recommend trying it out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

The meat seemed more like pre-packaged rather than freshly carved. It had a burned taste, possibly from being overcooked or from the steam pan drying out. There was a noticeable tang to the entire meal. However, the desserts were quite enjoyable.

We have been going to the Acorn Cafe for many many years but things are really not good at the moment. There are signs everywhere saying about the lack of staff and the ones that were there were all working hard but the wait time was unacceptable for a simple 2 omelette meal. We returned the bread as it was very stale. We will not be returning, sorry.
