Coffee At Lyde - South Gloucestershire

On a rainy Friday afternoon, my companion and I sought shelter in a community café in Lyde Green. Located within the community centre, the café was not too crowded when we arrived after lunchtime. We ordered two medium Americano coffees with hot milk from a friendly waitress at the counter. While the coffee arrived quickly and was adequately hot, we found it to be lacking in strength and rich flavors that we enjoy in a coffee. Priced at £2.75 per cup, it was on par with other cafes but did not quite meet our expectations in terms of taste. Other local cafes in the area offer a better and stronger cup of coffee in comparison.

Kelly and her team hosted a fantastic tea for 26 people yesterday. The presentation on vintage plates was beautiful and the chocolate maltesers birthday cake was incredible. They were able to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets, as well as provide de-caff drinks and green tea upon request. While the cafe may not have the ambiance of a country house hotel, the warm and friendly service more than made up for it. With the addition of balloons, we were able to create a festive party atmosphere. Kelly offers very reasonable prices, so I highly recommend considering her for your next event.

Not coming here again had to wait over nearly a hour for my very small breakfast......very very slow staff .....considering work on a local biulsiye ihad to have my both breaks at once .....not a happy chappie

This delightful cafe is a favorite spot in the neighborhood, with excellent customer service and delectable meals, cakes, and drinks at affordable prices.

Great little coffee shop in the community centre. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.
