Basmati - South Gloucestershire

Fantastic food. Every dish we had was super tarka dhal, chicken jalfrezi, bombay potatoes, aubergine bhaji, online bhaji and the best Peshawari naan we have ever had. Very reasonable prices and its a byo!

We made a last-minute decision to dine at this restaurant after experiencing a long wait for food at TGI Fridays. The staff member who took our reservation over the phone was pleasant, but we were surprised to learn that they do not serve any drinks. The service was a bit slow, but the waiter was very friendly and managed well considering he was the only one serving a large crowd of over 20 people. The food was delicious, and we would definitely consider returning. The prices were quite affordable compared to other Indian restaurants we have visited, and the quality of the food was excellent.

The food quality was terrible, a complete waste of money. The Tandoori rotis were undercooked and had to be thrown away. The Raita was just plain yogurt with some chopped onions. The curries were mediocre. When I called to give feedback on the rotis, the restaurant showed no interest in listening.

The restaurant was very welcoming and had friendly staff. The food was delicious, and I believe it is the best Indian restaurant ever. I can't wait to go back and would highly recommend it.

The food was awesome and staff advice about the portion was very appreciated. Great place for a family dinner or just nice evening.
