Almondsbury Garden Centre

What a terrible shame that this cafe has deteriorated to such a poor standard. The lunch we ordered was quiche and chips, both of poor quality and taste. Chips were uncooked in the middle. Drinks were no better, coffee insipid and hot chocolate was sweet and lacking taste. How can they get this so wrong? The cafe used to be of very good quality and as a result, very busy. Come on Almondsbury GC, this needs to be better!

We went to the cafe for dinner today. Staff were lovely. Menu was lacking in main meals. Christmas menu was not a Christmas menu. Ham,egg and chips were nice but my sisters bubble and squeak was dry and she left it. The tea was like dish water, must be cheap tea bags. No colour or taste.Very disappointing. We enjoyed looking round the garden centre but the cafe is letting it down sadly.

Met a friend for cuppas and cake in the cafe at the top of the hill. I visited the cafe when it reopened and it was n 't good then, I wanted to see if it had improved!!! The quality of the tea is poor replace your provider use a Twinnings breakfast or PG or Yorkshire as what you serve is like 'weak dish water '. Please get a decent tea bag!!! Fruit scone rock hard and inside grey coloured my experience tells me over worked and over handled dough. My Friend had a 'finger ' of carrot cake nearly £4 . Better fare at Eastwood Park, Dobbies , John Lewis and M&S. Also, CHEAPER and a decent slice of cake for the money. We mentioned our concerns to the staff who said she would tell chef. We were not offered an alternative or our money back.

The food that my wife and I had was lovely. I think some people moan about nothing. Regarding the slope , its not that bad . I would recommend this place for dinner , our dinner was really nice and NOT overpriced. Nice garden center too.

I went there last week in a couple i bought a shirt then on the way back i saw the staff Leo Chadwick and he helped me out with all my needs.
