Sushi Cafe - South Elgin

Not good at all. I feel duped based on reviews. Hubby and I didn't even bother to finish our rolls. Anyone who actually knows sushi would agree this is not real sushi.

If you want excellent fresh sushi, delicious hot green tea, friendly service come here! I feel like the prices for the food match perfectly. I am a regular and I love this place. I was there today and I overheard a man was leaving after his meal and told the chefs that the meal was excellent! I wanted to give that guy a high five. For the reviews who think that this place is expensive… Meijer sells sushi for cheap. I suggest you head there.

So she was OK and we are regular there they literally know us today me and my husband and our 4 year old went for lunch. I was very surprised to get a mandatory 18% gratuity included already. I am used to places adding gratuity if there’s party of five or more. Wondering if somebody else experience this as well. Also I don’t recall them ever doing that service charge before

Lovely sushi that was quite delicious! They have a great 3 roll special too!

Just had 5 rolls delivered. It’s fine but there are better places, especially for the price. We will not order here again. Now we know.
