Skippy's Gyros - South Elgin

The food was very dry. I had the beef. I asked for them to dip it and cut 1/2 with Mozzarella cheese. My husband had the gyoys small portion There was mold on the walls the there wallpaper had a whole in We won't be be back

They have real pizza puffs! So many restaurants fail at making a good pizza puff but not Skippy's! The cheese fry cheese is also really good and not that weird fake plasticy cheese some places use. The gyros are great and they come in different sizes which is amazing cause I don't always want a big ol gyro sometimes a mini is perfect. The burger is super legit. One of the best drive thrus in the Elgin area for sure.

I ordered the gyro meat well done, n even reminded them at the pick up window n they said they are on it , well it wasn't well done. I ordered a charred hotdog (which cost more???y I have no idea) it was bathed in way too much mustard soaking the bun n ripped the bun n caused a mess of it all.....a experience worth coming back to??? Lol nope as u can see I wound up just eating the dog only......well just visited again on 5-17-23 and as you can see soupy hotdog again leaking thru the paper....oh boy

What happened to good old Greek gyros? This is like a hot dog. Man a gyro use to be crazy full, you can have meat left over to dip in your sauce. What is this? I also ordered about 70 dollars worth of food. I love this place but come on. This would have never happened before. I use to live in roselle and this would have been a disgrace. Please fix this.

The gyros were not what I remember them being. In fact it wasn't even close. After thinking about it, I think it must be the meat. Maybe they have a new supplier? Maybe the supplier changed the ingredients? I'm guessing somebody is trying to salvage a profit. Fries were very good. While the employees were absolutely outstanding, the gyros really disappointed. I hope it's temporary...
