Pita Bbq - South Elgin

Upon unwrapping the wraps, I discovered that both were loaded with tomatoes and onions, contrary to my request. To make matters worse, my wrap had a couple of hairs mixed in with the falafel. I couldn’t bring myself to eat mine, but my mom tried hers. She found it to be extremely spicy. Overall, I was very disappointed and grossed out by the experience. As a follow-up, I called Pita BBQ, and they agreed to refund my money via email. I’m still waiting to receive that refund.

Delicious! The chicken shawarma plate was generous and extremely tasty. The spicy chili chicken plate was fantastic as well. The food was served quickly. I will definitely be coming back. The air conditioning wasn't on, so it was a bit warm inside, but we took our food to go, so it wasn't an issue. Just wanted to mention that in case you plan to dine in.

I've finally found the perfect spot for falafel and shawarma cravings! The fire chicken on the combo plate is a vibrant red but has just the right level of spice. It comes with a super spicy tandoori sauce on the side that you can add to your liking. The garlic sauce is a great complement that adds a soothing touch. The rice they serve is excellent too. I do wish the combo plate included hummus, but I can always order that on the side next time. Even my picky 6-year-old couldn't get enough, saying, “I can’t stop eating it; it’s so yummy!” The shawarma chicken was spot on, and the beef was juicy as well. Nothing beats the fire chicken, though!

Good food. Outstanding customer service. I ordered a chicken wrap for myself. I was with my 7 year old. The owner threw in a drink for him and when he brought out the food, there was an extra wrap for my son. I was not charged for these extras. What akind man and an awesome surprise! The garlic sauce on the fries was amazing. Will definitely return.

The food is absolutely divine. The hot sauce and toum (garlic sauce) are incredibly tasty. If I lived closer, I would definitely eat there at least once a week. It’s my top choice for dining out.
