The Ragley Boat Stop - South Derbyshire

Visited for a family birthday. We were advised when booking we would have a table upstairs, on arrival this was not the case. Some of the party ordered starters, other chose mains. All the food came out together. I always assumed starters came first and then everyone ate mains together. The food orders were mixed up with sides being added to the wrong meals, also some items ordered were not brought out, when we queried this we were told the items had not been ordered. Basically called us liers! When we requested the missing items we were told we needed to pay again! Badly organised with indifferent or inept staff. Very poor experience, not in any rush to return. When you consider we had a party of 11 and an overall bill of over £400 I expected better!

Poor quality of food and tasteless. Five friends met up for food and a catch up. We all ordered various meals containing chicken, each meal was disappointing. Poor value for money.

Well what a con had fillet steak fajitas,miniscule skillet,meat chewy,i said portion size shurnk,lots of peppers and onions not much meat,manager said always been this size,i said been coming here for 30 plus years used to get bigger portions,says that 's how it is ,so just roll over and except it,i can give you free chips next time!.£17 .DON 'T BOTHER!WHAT A RIP OFF.

Had a great time at the Ragley. Service was excellent so was the Steak. From the Tbone, gammon and mixed grill. Will return and would definitely recommend. Many thanks to all the staff that ensured our visit to the Ragley was o e to remember.

Large modern pub restaurant. Food quality and service with a Smile is first class , there's mid week food offers on at the moment .Spotless inside and out side great Cask ales on . Highly recommend this to chill out and relax. I stopped over in my motorhome in the very large carpark , no problems.
