The best pub for miles around. Really friendly staff, great food and ales always a welcome. This put has a dog friendly area and welcome dogs our Retrievers love it as they get treats. Well worth a visit.

Laura and Team Malt did an amazing job catering for my late mother in laws wake. The staff were kind and friendly. Everything was taken care of so we didn’t need to worry. The best thing though was the quality of the food especially the sausage rolls the yummy chips. I don’t usually like sausage rolls but I had 2! Thank you Laura from all the family x

We recently celebrated my significant birthday at this restaurant. It is a perfect setting for a small to medium sized party. We initially dined inside but with the beautiful weather, we also enjoyed the outdoor space. Laura prepared a wonderful buffet for us. All of my friends were impressed with the delicious food and its presentation. Thank you, Laura, for a lovely meal and excellent service.

I had a fantastic dining experience last night at The Malt. The owner was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about allergies. As a gluten-free diner, the server was able to guide me through the menu. My medium rare steak was cooked perfectly. To top off the night, we enjoyed caramel espresso martinis that were made to perfection. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere that blends traditional and modern gastro vibes. The Malt is truly a hidden gem in this lovely village.

Had a great Sunday roast whilst passing through the area. Booked via email in advance and received a quick response confirming my booking. Service was excellent, really welcoming, friendly, quick and helpful. Food was delicious and good value. The premises did have some external building work in progress but it didn’t detract from a great experience. Would definitely visit again.
