Fish'n'chick'n Sawston

The portion size was disappointing and the prices were excessive. I will not be returning to this restaurant. This experience was so frustrating that I felt compelled to leave a review. I would suggest avoiding this establishment.

I went to this restaurant tonight for the first time since it was taken over, and I wish I hadn't bothered. I ordered a small portion of chips and a large one. The chips were terrible, not at all like traditional chip shop chips. They didn't even put salt and vinegar on them and still charged me £7.80! What a rip-off. I will never eat here again. I can't believe they are still in business charging such high prices for bad food.

The parking at the restaurant was good. The fish was cooked to order, but the chips were terrible. It seems like the chips had been sitting in the keep warm for too long as they were not even warm. I had the hake and chips for $4.99, which was good value due to a special offer.

Very expensive, small portions (smaller than a childrens portion) , the food is ok, but I shall go to the chippy dwn the road

2 stars as the fish was tasty. I agree with most of the current reviews, small portion like a child's size meal. Service wasn't much better, not even asked if I wanted salt n vinegar. I wouldn't come here again, shame as the fish and chips were cooked well.
