Bidrage med feedbackLast night for the first time. Live acoustic music was fantastic and made a great mood for the room. Eating was amazing, service was excellent. everything from arancini to the zeppolen was wonderfully delicious. we come back and recommend sorrriso bistro!
The food was absolutely delicious! We loved the scallops and babaganoush. The pizza was phenomenal, it was the best restaurant I've experienced in Burlington! We can't wait to go back again soon!
This particular physical location has gone through quite a few businesses (KFC, Juniors, Tavern 2). Went here for the first time last week and the place was packed. Ordered a margarita pizza and it didn’t disappoint. I have also attached a specials menu they are currently running. Will def be going Monday nights.
Had an excellent meal with friendly service and perfect portion sizes. Atmosphere was perhaps a little loud, and the zeppoles ordered for dessert were unfortunately doughy in the middle, but the staff were understanding and offered another dessert on the house. Will definitely return.
I came in on a Wednesday, drawn by curiosity as well as their advertised Homemade Lasagna and a Switchback for $10. I was looking for takeout and assumed I could order the special and drink my beer while I waited for lasagna to be paid kaged up to go. When I asked what the specials were for the evening, the Lasagna special was omitted from the list..so I asked about it specifically. Apparently they did have the lasagna, they just were not all that keen on me ordering it. When I mentioned that is what I wanted and wanted it to go I was told no. I politely argued that they did not mention this in their advertisement but the response back to me was that they do not make any money on this special and is a way to bring people into the restaurant so they will order something else and spend more money. Ok, honest enough, but to a paying customer visiting your establishment for the first time in your newly opened restaurant..all I heard was that you don't care about my business or the potential business I could bring in. It wasn't until I decided to go somewhere else, did the bartender begrudgingly agree to let me take the precious lasagna square home. I was short on time so I accepted. I also ordered a salad which was good; the lasagna was good though if I had paid $18 for it I would have been disappointed. While all of this was taking place, the owner was standing two feet away from me talking to an ex-employee of one of the building's previous occupants, making fun of their recipes. I got my food, finished my beer and left Sorisso with a couple thoughts on my experience. The first thought was that I spent $22 for dinner and a beer, left a $10 tip and somehow Sorisso feels that they did me a huge favor. The second thought was really more of a question: Why would someone open a restaurant in a location where the previous two restaurants failed, and do nothing discernable from the two failures? Adding an $18 Cioppino appetizer to your pizza menu doesn't make this place upscale. Particularly when accompanied by television over your bar that runs through the weekly specials, including trivia night and a lasagna special you don't actually want anyone to order. Honestly, my bet is on the next owner.
