Smokey's Low N' Slow - South Burlington

Excellent service and the food was delightful. I've eaten at this location several times, and I've always been satisfied with both the food and service.

The pulled pork was moist, though it didn't stand out as anything special on its own. The brisket was delicious, but it might not be as juicy as some people prefer. The sausage had a nice smoky flavor, and its natural pork taste really shone through, although it had a strong black pepper finish that I personally didn't enjoy. However, that didn’t affect my overall rating. I wasn't fond of the sides I ordered but would be willing to try others that I didn’t get to sample. The coleslaw was a letdown as it lacked flavor and the balance you’d expect from a good slaw. The baked beans were on the sweeter side, which might not be to everyone's liking. As for the mac and cheese, it didn’t have as much cheese as some might want (I’m not a fan of mac and cheese, but my friend enjoyed it). The dishes were served quickly, and the waitress was attentive. Overall, I’d give this place a solid 4 out of 5 because the meats really fulfilled my carnivorous cravings, and I left feeling satisfied. I would definitely come back again!

Why is there no one here? This place is truly a hidden gem in South Burlington, Vermont! The BBQ is fantastic—homemade sausage that’s outstanding, along with great baby back ribs, baked beans, and delicious sauces. The service is excellent too. The food may take a little while to arrive, but it's definitely worth the wait. Honestly, there's no need to rush. Take your time and enjoy a craft cocktail or a local draft beer. We were too full to try one of the adult milkshakes, but we’ll definitely be back!

Visiting from out of town! Decided we wanted to go somewhere low key for dinner. Chose this place. It 's hidden back behind McDonald 's all the down at the end of the plaza. Place was clean. Appetizers were great and food was awesome! Also their selection of sauces is amazing. Rather than 6 BBQ sauces they give you a Mayo/ranch Rocket Mayo Sauce and horseradish! Cool options. Loved it! Great job worth the stop if you 're visiting Burlington. Cheers!

A little gem. First of all the place is very nicely decorated and clean. Rustic decor, well done and welcoming. We ordered the BBQ meal for two. The brisket was very moist, ribs-fall of the bone as they should and the pulled pork was moist and delicious. The baked beans were also very good. They give you an assortment of sauces to enjoy with your BBQ. The waitress was great and was efficiently serving all tables. I wold recommend this place and I would return if we were in the area again!
