Barnyard Wood Crafted Pizza

We stopped here not realizing this was a sister restaurant with taphouse in Rutland (on our never to go to places again list) but we were pleasantly surprised. We could see they were short staffed (just one young man running the front and one person doing the cooking) the young man running the front was doing a great job and I made sure to tell him that knowing he was under pressure and was doing great holding it together. The food was also great so the cook that was doing all the work that day was amazing. We got wings that were cooked perfectly and mozzarella sticks to start that everyone loved. For our meals we got the whole barn pizza (cooked perfectly), a blt that was great, a chicken parm that was fantastic and my salad was sooooo good (I believe it was called the leaf eater) we would definitely go to this restaurant again and great job to the people that were working today!

We had dinner at The Barnyard this past weekend (8/10/2024). It was pretty quiet when we arrived, got seated right away. The booth we were sat at wasn’t cleaned but we picked off the food bits and checked out the menu. We were going to order the chicken parm sandwich and a pizza but the hand breaded chicken breast was out of stock. So we got a pizza and a poutine. The bartender was super nice, was on the newer side and wasn’t sure how to make a drink. He tried googling a recipe and it worked out OK. He did a nice job. Props for the effort for sure! Food came and it was good. In comparison to other local pizza places, it was good. Didn’t rise above, didn’t sink below. Poutine was good. I had high hopes as the poutine at The Guild was pretty wonderful. This being a guild group eatery, I hoped for the same yumminess. Not quite there but it was still good. Great onion rings on the side. Overall a good experience. I would come back…. Maybe once the chicken parm is back in stock. ?

.75 wings on Mondays. Hard to beat this deal. I rate the wings 7.5/10. Will def be back!

Our server was awesome. Food was good. I asked for not mayo on my sandwich and it had a bunch. Kitchen insisted they didn't put it on there..lol wings were fire tho.
