Monk - South Bucks

Visited Monk on Sunday 15th Jan with my 2 children and hubby, as I'd seen their delicious menu and thought I've got to try this, plus it was local and they had a special off for the buffet: £5 for children under 10 and adults are £20. The food was very delicious and my kids who are fussy eaters enjoyed the magic vegetables and naans. Service was OK, no eye contact or smiles. When I paid the bill, the children were changed £10 each, and they were both under 10. I showed the waiter the offer advertised on their website, and I told him that he'd made a mistake. He completely dismissed me. I took my card out, and as I discussed the discrepancy, he swiped my card. There was still no eye contact and no knowledgment of the price on their website. He did then mummered the price advertised is wrong, and that was it. Unfortunately, I will not be going back to Monk.

Best prawns in the U.K . Eaten a lot of prawns in my life but these King Prawns are something to be seen and tasted. On arrival the sizzling hot plate picked up my ears then upon being placed on the table my eyes were greeted with 3 Huge, juicy , thick prawns. Once I cut through the Chunky supple skin and delicately placed them in my mouth, my taste buds were greeted with well marinated king prawn explosion of flavour and pleasure that I’ve never experienced before. Simply put they were cooked to perfection. Walked out floating on a cloud. Will be back soon

Best curry in Denham area and for miles! Avoid Ahman Indian nearby Monk is 10x better. Much nicer restaurant for taste. Especially if you are eating in. Lovely restaurant and service will be visiting regularly!

Excellent food. Some of the tastiest I've had in a long time. 5 others at the table felt similarly. Also we were not rushed.

Fantastic food but terrible service. Twice now i have called because the food had taken over two hours to arrive, and twice they hadn’t processed the order at all. The food is amazing, but the business side of the operation is appalling.
