The Carriage House - South Bend

This place is absolutely stunning! We arrived close to sunset and were able to take in the views both during the day and as night fell, with the lights bringing the garden to life and creating a fairy tale atmosphere. The food was phenomenal; the Chef's Special Shrimp was the best I've ever had, and I will probably be craving it forever! Everything we tried was wonderful, and we sampled a lot! The drinks were also delicious—not overly strong—and perfectly captured the essence of late summer. I highly recommend this place, and if you can, arrive an hour before sunset—it’s truly a sight to behold and sets the perfect mood for the evening.

For fine food in South Bend Carriage House cannot be topped. The food and service was excellent. The menu changes regularly, so every visit will be a new experience. There are outdoor seating when the weather is allowed. Many parking spaces.

Farm for fork outdoor food in its finest. The blue crab pizza is also incredibly good. Very nice and varied wine selection.

The tasty beerbatter fish and perfectly seasoned homemade potato wedges were excellent!!! The Brownie was beyond yummy!!

Delightful staff, amazing attention to detail, the most personable and caring chef and proprietor. The holiday atmosphere and food were second to none. Highly recommend.
