The Boss's Place - South Bend

This place is nothing but a little hole in the wall but a little gem the food is fantastic if you’re looking for a good home town cooking something your mother would make it’s a local hang out for the locals everybody in there is friendly the staff is great and friendly if you come to South Bend Indiana for anything you must stop they’re only open for breakfast and lunch but no matter what you order I’ll guarantee you you won’t go wrong

Definitely a locals-only spot. Found to have a high rating so we tried it. Service was fine. Atmosphere is what you'd expect, inside and out. The food was different than what I'd expect, but palatable. I ordered the 1/2 biscuits and gravy with home fries. It was fresh for sure, but I've never had sausage gravy made with corn starch and not flour? The home fries were good, and well prepared. The biscuit was truly magnificent though and made the whole meal good enough to eat.

The hidden gem of the area. Great food. The price cannot be beat anywhere in the area. All around great place!Kid-friendliness: Great environment!

Quaint little mom pop place. Great prices breakfast. Must try if visiting Southbend.
