Bidrage med feedbackWe were so glad we decided to stop here! The highlight? Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The food tasted fresh and had a comforting homemade quality. We tried the fried chicken, mac and cheese, Cuban sandwich, potato salad, baked beans, jambalaya, mashed potatoes, and the chicken and waffles with watermelon. Each dish came with a side, and there wasn't a single item we didn't enjoy. I also loved the peach tea, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. The only downside? Honestly, it's hard to find much to complain about, but they didn't have a parking lot.
I've heard great things about this restaurant for quite some time, and I finally got the chance to check it out. It definitely lived up to the hype! Everything was incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. While it might not be the healthiest choice of the week, it's certainly one of the best meals I've had. I was especially pleasantly surprised by the addition of salami to the Cuban sandwich; it adds a nice little kick that really enhances the dish. I will definitely return in the future!
This eclectic restaurant has certainly made some interesting choices, but everything comes together for a delightful experience. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is unique, and the food is made in-house. We were seeking a local spot and came in primarily for food, leaving drinks aside. My husband and I shared the onion dip and each ordered a chicken sandwich—he opted for the classic OG, while I chose the Nashville version. You can really tell that everything is made from scratch, served on what appears to be a mishmash of dishware, as if it were contributed by eight different grandmothers who never crossed paths.
The chicken sandwiches are terrific! The chicken was tender and most. My wife had the Murica with potato salad. She loved the potato salad! My son and daughter had the kids hamburger and they said it was one of the best they have had. I got the Nashville chicken sandwich, it was so good. It has some heat, but not too much. We got two biscuits and they did not last long. They were delicious!
I found Fatbird a nice St. Paddy's evening alternative to a rowdy Irish joint while walking around reading local restaurants' menus. I'm a fan of fried edamame in small doses so the app was a bit much for one, and had I known how good the green beans were, I would have ordered *that* as an app in addition to the accompanying sandwich side! The OG was incredible; dill lettuce provided subtle complexity to the tender and perfectly-breaded chicken. The ratios in the sandwich
