Bendix - South Bend

Went there for the 1st time this morning as everything was very good. Been going out for breakfast on Sat for yrs as the food here is great the staff was friendly as waitress kept our coffee cups full. Going back next Sat morning for sure! Give this place a try

Good not greatedit.. with Corona being airborne and restaurant closed for awhile could have been cleaned.. airborne..airbornetue sept 07.. rode my Ebike to have breakfast meal. approximately 8am .only 1 other table in dining room. asked to sit at table by window. $650 bike needed to keep eye on. was told table only for party of 4.. I suggested that 1 will go somewhere else.. empty dining room and was not allowed view my bike.. taking this restaurant off my map app.. will not recommend. CLEAN UP YOUR ACT...

Bendix is a nice quiet place with an excellent breakfast burrito.

The restaurant does not treat black customers the same way they treat white or Latino customers. I ordered a meal with pancakes, and everything was brought out except syrup. An older white couple came in and were promptly served, with syrup brought out for their pancakes. It seems that this differential treatment is based on race. The cost for a half order of biscuits and gravy is $5.75, and there is a clear disparity in how white customers are treated compared to black customers. Despite the possibility for change, it seems unlikely that attitudes in the restaurant will improve.

Spacious neighborhood diner with friendly and attentive staff. Prices are reasonable considering the generous portion sizes.
