Bidrage med feedbackI'm unsure whether this miscommunication falls on OpenTable or Maras, but given the circumstances, I felt the waitress could have made some accommodations for us, especially since it’s possible there was an error in their online reservations. What truly deterred me from returning was how rude and unaccommodating she was. It seemed like she didn’t care at all about turning us away. Afterward, my wife, daughter, and I went to the Foothills in Seabright, where we had one of the best dinners we've ever enjoyed. I highly recommend that others consider dining there instead.
The appetizers we did receive—apple and gorgonzola salad, French onion soup, calamari, and tuna tartare—were all beautifully presented and delicious. However, on three separate occasions, a server delivered food and drinks we hadn’t ordered. Additionally, we were attended to by three different waiters, which made it difficult to identify who our main server was. Stacey, who mentioned she was in training, was the highlight of our experience. She was personable, attentive, and friendly. Overall, it was a rather bizarre culinary experience in a half-empty restaurant on a Saturday night. Regarding the dress code, it seemed anything went; I was dressed in corporate business casual, while some men wore baseball caps and work boots, and others were in football uniforms and flip-flops. It felt quite strange for a place that had fine linen on the tables.
We managed to order some appetizers and drinks, but it was clear that the waitress had no knowledge of the menu. We ordered the rock steak, but instead received a hanger steak, and we were given a butter knife to cut it. The shrimp dish was supposed to be served over pasta, but it came with potatoes instead. I ordered the escargot, but it never arrived. We only saw our waitress once after placing our order, and she never returned to check on us. I wanted to feel like a valued guest, but instead, I felt ignored. I noticed an older gentleman who seemed to be in charge, but he didn’t do much to help. By the end of our meal, my family's order was incorrect, and I received my escargot in a Tupperware container to go. Don't bother coming here. Even the food that did come out was only mediocre at best. When I mentioned my concerns, the staff simply brushed it off, claiming, “sometimes this happens in food service.” By the way, they pay for good reviews. One review even suggested they deserve a Michelin star! I’ve eaten in many restaurants, and this place just had an average cook, with everything else being poorly managed.
If I couldn't give this restaurant stars, that would be my review. my man and I went there to celebrate my birthday. we are there before 18 clock. the restaurant was not busy, 3 more tables next to ours. the waiter came by to advise that we are from crispy artichoke hearts and asked if we wanted something from the bar. he said we wait for dinner and put our appetizer order, jumbo crawling cocktail and snuggle in a white sauce. the appetizers lasted at least 20 30 minutes. they were good, but nothing special about them. when the waitress came to clear our table, she spilled the clam sauce on the table. the host came by and asked if we wanted them to take care of the spill. we said she would change that tablecloth. No, she put a black serviette over it. we waited for our main course. 30 40 minutes later we were told our main course will be right out. ten minutes later our waiter said that several dishes were dropped in the kitchen and he wants to make sure they were not ours. what they ordered was his question. told him scallops oreganata and rack of lamb. he left our table. he came back and said, “Now, that was your order on the floor, okay, we will come back” and run away. are you doing sweat? no excuse. we wait 20 30 minutes and the food was not yet ready. other tables that came in an hour later when we got to eat there. the host asked how the dinner was and I told her what happened. I was as disgusting as we were treated, I didn't want to wait any longer. asked the shook, they thought they would compensate us for the apps, but that did not happen. paid $40 for appetizers and left. would not return there and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. this restaurant is a nightmare and does not know how to treat its customers.
