Easy Lane - SOUTH ALBURY

I 've been here since they originally added vegan cheese cautiously to the menu and options weren 't great back then. I 've recently come back since I remember what a great atmosphere the restaurant was and it 's just as great as always. Definitely doesn 't feel like an RSL dining in an industrial street picture hanging plants, wooden furniture, cocktail bar and staff all around. More of an upper class beer garden with the service of a good restaurant. The menu has several vegan specific options now too all of which sound and taste amazing. I had The Vegan Way , a stuffed sweet potato with Mac and cheeze , topped with avo. It was a huge meal and so tasty, everything cooked and presented to perfection. I can 't wait to come back here to try more, a hidden gem!

Really tasty meals, the pizza looks average but tastes really good. Good music, staff and atmosphere. Recommended!

With amiable service and a great atmosphere, Easy Lane is a pleasant surprise. There are three vegan options on the menu (no buffalo cauliflower tacos, unfortunately) The Vegan Way, the Vegan Buddha Bowl and the Satay Vegan Pizza. At the bar, there are vegan options such as Earthworks Shiraz, Fever Tree Ginger Beer and Tia Maria. In the adjacent cafe, coffee and tea are available with either soy or almond milk. Please note that you now need to be a member of the Windsor RSL to eat in Easy Lane. However, membership for 5 years is a very reasonable $10.00.

I am so glad I used the happy cow app top find a venue for my date tonight. Hubby is a meat eater so finding places that suits us both can be tricky. I'd never have expected to find such a great venue inside an RSL. If you're a plant lover like me, you're going to love the atmosphere here. There are beautiful plants everywhere you look. I got the satay pizza on gluten free base and it was so delicious.Best pizza I've had in a while. Service was fast and friendly and their drinks menu is great. Plenty of cocktails on offer too. I will definitely be back.... probably next week lol
