Bidrage med feedbackWhen you are in the Dordogne, don't miss this boulangerie. The shop has the most diversity in patisseries, great coffee and very reasonable prices. We stopped in for a 2.75 euro breakfast that included a pastry, juice and small expresso for two mornings as opposed to the 14 euro breakfast at our hotel.It is impossible to leave before purchasing from their many dessert choices including eclairs, mille feuilles, fruit tartes and pain au chocolate. We could not get enough! Plus there is an outdoor seating area for enjoying your food and cappuccinos for 2 euros!
Fantastic boulangerie with many tasty and delicious breads, rolls , and pastries. Went here many a morning and always got fresh delicious produce.
We were staying around a 15 minute drive away. Kept going back as the baguettes were superb. Would definitely recommend.
We stopped at this bakery about two weeks ago for some bread and pastries for a picnic lunch. Both were delicious. However, unknown to us, we dropped our document portfolio from the campervan as we loaded our lunch. It held most of our important papers and all our holiday cash!. We only discovered the loss two days later. We then realised that the boulanger, Bruno, had discovered in the papers the French mobile number of our friends in the South of France and he had left a message. We made contact and he and his wife kindly held our belongings securely until our return last Friday when we collected the portfolio and were lucky enough to meet Bruno and his charming wife.I have been unavoidably delayed in making this entry but I want to publicly acknowledge my grateful thanks to Bruno and his wife for their help. That they went the extra mile to find us is a testament to their obvious honesty and goodwill. Such an event helps restore one's faith in human nature, which is all to often tested to destruction in these uncertain times. We wish them every success. Jim and Joy Munro
Whenever possible, this is where we buy our bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, tarts. Many kinds of bread, from classic baguettes and pain de campagne to tourtes de meule, pain aux noix, pain aux céréales and pain aux figues et abricots, all of them freshly baked and delicious. Only complaint is that they're not open on Sunday!
