Spectacular place facing the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius.

Absolutely rock star experience of magnificent food, great service and stunning location. Best meal I have had in some time, you don't need to stay at the hotel for this 5 star experience. Do yourself a favour and book it in, prices were not cheap but in comparison to restaurants in Sydney, London or NY this was truely outstanding.

Beautiful location for breathtaking views. Excellent for celebrating weddings and important anniversaries. I will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend this place.

We were staying at the Ambasciatori hotel and received a voucher for dinner at its main restaurant as part of the package. The setting is beautiful, perched on the cliff just outside the city centre with open air tables overlooking the bay of Naples. Unfortunately that’s the good bit. The dinner was a total car crash and if I was expected to pay for it I’d have asked to see the manager, because for the standard of the food and service the prices were ridiculous. Unimaginative, bulky, barely warm and tasteless. Service was stiff, formal and unfriendly. Only one other table occupied, so no atmosphere other than the view. Piped music, a mix of operatic and pop. The wine waiter strongly recommended a wine we’d never heard of which tasted foul then started arguing with us when we said we’d like a different wine. For the same view and price bracket head for the nearby Lorelei and enjoy a good dinner with buzz and excellent service. This place needs a major revision.
