Hopmonk Tavern Sonoma

I would give this restaurant more of a 3.75 star rating. The food presentation was impressive and it was definitely not bad, but my expectations may have been a bit too high due to the reviews.

The restaurant has a lovely garden terrace and the waitress was very friendly. I went with a group of friends around 4 in the afternoon. I ordered the fish and chips while others ordered different entrees. The quality of the food was below average, with small portions of fish fillets, and the prices were much higher than expected. Overall, I do not plan on returning due to these drawbacks.

I visited this restaurant with some friends and had a fantastic time. The outdoor seating area was warm on a very cold night thanks to the propane heaters. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. I tried the Fox Dive dish and it was excellent.

I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich but I think I received a dry chicken wedge salad by accident. At least the beer was delicious!
