Bidrage med feedbackThe Koey Teow Soup is good for the vege category. You can order alot of varieties of selection from vegetarian food. The staff will assist you if you having hard time ordering. She is good in bahasa so no worries. The food preparation time is very short. We ordered some taufu, sweet and sour vege chicken, and some vege chicken with cashew nuts. Food considered ok so so) not vege fan).
We were staying at the New Season Square Hotel which is just opposite this restaurant. They open early and we had breakfast here one morning. There were plenty of pre cooked vegetarian dishes laid our for selection and you can also order some hot meals from the kitchen. There is no air conditioning here and the food is simple, cheap and nice.
While the restaurant is vegetarian it is vegetarian with a difference !! They provide Thai, Malaysian and Chinese dishes that should satisfy any diners ' culinary interests!! The food is freshly prepared from locally sources ingredients and they even make their own soy based drinks!! The service provided is also very professional ! It would definitely be worth a visit!!
The food was really delicious. The type of food caters includes Malay, Thai Chinese. There are 2 branches where 1 is within the city limit and another 20 minutes away from city center. Staffs are friendly and so the restaurants. Home made soya beans drinks available too.
We ordered Tom Yam and some other soup and they were both good. We think (and hope) they were vegan because when we tried asking (there was something that looked like a shrimp in the Tom Yam) the owner said jay, jay , which to our understanding means vegan. Anyway I can 't stand spicy food and I tried to make sure the Tom Yam wasn 't. I thought the owner understood because when I said no spicy she said ok. Alas it was very spicy and I just couldn 't eat it. My wife enjoyed it a lot though.
