Bidrage med feedbackPescatore is a true hidden gem. The front along Highland is actually the kitchen and pickup window with the dining room around the corner. We had a lovely meal in the dining room. Food was clearly homemade pasta and was delicious. The dining room was quiet while we were there, but with hard floors and pretty solid walls, I can see how it could become louder and livelier on a busy night. Definitely on our radar for future date nights!
Pescatore's is one of our go-to restaurants in the neighborhood. Even if we weren't within walking distance we'd still choose them. Neighborhood gem, friendly staff and delicious food. Been coming here for a few years and I've never been disappointed with the food. Enjoy!
Nice authentic italian feel. Reasonable wine selection. Arancini app excellent filled with lots od feesh melted moz. Bread was cold like just out of fridge...basil olive oil wanted the bread to at least be warm. 3 out of the 4 of us wanted a veal dish. No veal. Chicken melanese tasty but side pasta over cooked and it didn't come with the brocoli rabe the menu said it did. Lobster ravioli was also over cooked.
Wine overpriced. Should not charge $13 for a glass we are not in Boston.
Pleasant low key place, out of the way in Somerville. Very welcoming staff. Prices reasonable. Food unfortunately was disappointing. Pasta was over cooked and bland. Lobster dry. Scallops were tasty. Olive oil/garlic very light in flavor. Red sauce similarly nothing special. Wanted to like this neighborhood place but was quite disappointed.
