Panera Bread - Somerset

This Panera offers the usual reliable food and service you’d expect. There is outdoor seating available, but the indoor space is the smallest Panera I’ve encountered, so be mindful if you’re planning to hold a meeting there.

Online order is quick easy. Rapid pickup at this store was very convenient. Sandwiches were good, Asian chicken salad was excellent.

There were only three customers in the restaurant, including myself, and just one order displayed on the screen. After waiting for about 5-7 minutes, one of the customers decided to leave without placing an order because no one assisted her. It took around 10 minutes for them to process my order. They explained that the cashier was in the restroom and the manager was on the phone. Overall, it took me 20 minutes to finally leave the restaurant. Seriously?

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants for lunch, especially when I'm traveling, as they have locations almost everywhere. Parking is never a problem, no matter which one I choose. While their prices have remained stable, the portion sizes have definitely decreased. That said, the quality of the food is still excellent. I particularly enjoy the "pick-2" option, which allows me to mix and match my choices—like having a salad with a sandwich or soup with a salad. The available options vary with the seasons, especially their soups. This can be a double-edged sword; if you have a favorite soup, you might have to wait for its return in the next season. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

The absolute worst Flatbread pizza we have ever had!!! Very little sauce and cheese. 90% bread!!! Will never go to this location again. If it wasn't late and we weren't so hungry we would have driven it back to the restaurant and returned it.
