Gracie's Ice Cream And More - Somerset

OMG what a hidden gem!! A local friend told us we had to eat at Gracie's and thank goodness she did because this is the BEST burger/chicken/ice cream joint I have ever been to! It's outdoor seating only, so be prepared. There isn't a lot of shade, but there's plenty of space. The food is AMAZING! I had a grilled chicken sandwich, my husband and daughter each had a burger and we all split a fry. We all also got a drink. Everything was fixed fresh and was delicious. And it was only $22! We will definitely be back whenever we are in Somerset!

The food is good and reasonably priced ; the workers are professional and courteous. I'd rate it a 5 out of 5 as excellent!

Heard about this place from a friend. Decided to take a Sunday drive out to Gracie's. Ordered a small chocolate ice cream and a banana split. The ice cream was soft serve, but hand dipped is available. The ice cream had great flavor, but the texture was a bit grainy. The banana split smelled amazing, fresh ripe bananas with pineapple and strawberry toppings, nuts and cherries were optional. Prices are great for what you get. The small cone was large compared to others at different establishments. They offer savory food as well, but I did not sample any of that during this trip. I will return, but better do it soon, as I believe they are a seasonal establishment.

On our travel back home we were in the mood for some ice cream, my wife used Yelp to find the nearest ice cream shop to us. She was not able to find anything on Yelp near us but that's not uncommon as places that are way out of the city that also have poor cellular connection aren't usually listed on Yelp. She used google to find this place. We were having a difficult time using our cell phones so we waited until we got home to add this to yelp, upload pics and write a review. It's not on the main road, but seems more like its in an old house located in a neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helped us with our order, the food was prepared quickly and we enjoyed our snack. We had only planned on getting some ice cream but ended up getting some food as well. We ordered the Velvet ice cream Buckeye Classic and a Coney dog loaded with sauce cheese and onions. There are only tables outside to sit at but it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the nice sun while eating our snacks. The prices were very reasonable and if we were to ever go through this town again I would stop again.
