Actor's Corner Cafe' - SOLVANG

Two couples together because our kids were all with the other side of the families for Thanksgiving. We made a reservation two months before so we would get the time we wanted. It is a beautiful little restaurant. The hostess/waitress/owner was wonderful and made the evening enjoyable. The wine selection was good and the food was perfect. I liked it that we did not have big portions. I like it when I 'm served perfectly prepared food in a portion that I can finish comfortably not something piled high on a plate that you feel guilty about leaving. The dinner felt more European than other meals because we were not rushed and we had correct sized portions.

Very nice owners/chef, food, ambiance. Wonderful decadent chocolate dessert to finish off the night. We personally like when we are presented with a limited menu from the chef. Do it well, make it from your fresh bounty, tell us what's good tonight to eat as the chef should be the expert. Lifetime locals here, and we are very picky about all the new changes to the valley. We enjoyed our experience here very much.

My girlfriend and I were reading the menu before the café opened. Chef Santo and Grace came out to greet us, chat and invite us to dinner. Their friendly greeting and the good reviews we read were enough to get us to dinner that night. This is an intimate, warm, quiet and relaxed café with outstanding food and service. We'll definitely eat there again. Recommend highly.

Pure organic ingredients, cooked simply but perfectly. This is food as it should be!
