Bistraito - Solothurn

We stopped here for a break after lunch time , from wandering around Solothun which until this point had been great. We intended to have a coffee and cake or some ice cream but initially ordered drinks . Our reception on ordering the drinks was frosty at best, seemingly our order was not big enough so they wanted shot of us, despite the fact there were a number of spare tables. Coffee and Cola were dumped unceremoniously on the table, no conversation or pleasantries even when we thanked them. Consequently Cake etc was not ordered

Loved the mulled wine and the outdoor space is beautiful. Secure was quick and prices reasonable. Definitely worth a visit

Stopped here for lunch on a resent visit to Solothurn. Food was delicious with a varied lunch menu and very reasonably priced. They also accommodated my fussy daughters food request! Service was quick and staff very friendly would definitely visit again and recommend

It is one of the times you get realy surprised finding authentic Mediterranean tastes in the middle of a wonderful Swiss town... Service was direct and friendly underlining my whole impression... Do not miss the chanxe to visit it if you ever pass from Solothurn.
