Barnes Trading Post- Wilderness Inn

My grandpa took my dad went here when he was a boy. Same for me and now my boys. New generation of owners. Same great experience, but updated. Wonderful. Great bar and grill and arcade.

This little honey pot I found while hanging with my friends in Wisconsin. I got a chance to meet the owner Nadia as she and her husband are very much a part of the day-to-day operations. The staff was very kind, patient, and helpful. The staff along withNadia made sure my guests and I were always satisfied. I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, and my friends ordered the Hawaiianpizza, and the cordon blue pizza. All of the pizzas were perfect, and the mixed drinks were as well. I think what I liked mostabout this establishment besides the wonderful food and service is the fact that they also have a game room in the back so aftereating you can either playing pool or arcade games. This place is definitely a great find, and when the food and service are asgood as they are here I wouldn't look to go anywhere else. Kudos to Nadia and Elliott for having a wonderful establishment andmaking me a believer that this is all I need and more in this town

On Saturday night, after the wedding, our group ended our evening at the bar, and I want to give a special shout-out to Mike for his kindness in staying a bit longer to make sure we were well taken care of. It really added the perfect touch to our weekend, and I’m so grateful we got to spend that time with our friends. The trading post and Wilderness Inn are treasured spots in Barnes, and we can’t wait to return when we’re back in town. It now holds a special place in our hearts as well. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

The food here is excellent, the staff are fantastic, and the owners are wonderful. They even serve my favorite, Old Milwaukee non-alcoholic beer!

I had breakfast here, and the food was outstanding! Our picky grandson finished his entire pancake and said it was really delicious. They also have live music on the back patio. This place is a must-try if you’re in Barnes, WI.
