Pizza Hut - Solihull

We have visited this Pizza Hut multiple times over the years. It is situated in a bustling restaurant area in Touchwood, and can be either very quiet or very busy. The service from all the staff has always been exceptional, with special recognition going to two individuals who stood out this weekend (Manager Trishan and Megan)! The kids' meals are a good value, and they enjoy eating pizzas, pasta, and helping themselves at the well-stocked (and clean) salad bar. The ice cream area is cleaned regularly, but unfortunately, we saw some young customers misusing the ice cream dispenser and making a mess with the chocolate sauce toppings. We informed the staff, who promptly cleaned up the area to a spotless condition for the next customer.

We chose to dine at this restaurant for the buffet. It had been a while since we had visited this chain. The restaurant was bustling, but we were seated promptly. Orders and payments were not accepted in person; instead, they must be placed through the app or by scanning a QR code on the table, which could be time-consuming if it worked. There was no phone signal, so WiFi was necessary. If you did not have a compatible phone, you would not be able to dine here. The staff was not very helpful or friendly, and their service was subpar, not just towards us but towards other customers as well. The pizza buffet selection was decent, but they quickly ran out of pizzas and were slow to restock, sometimes with different kinds. The location was good, but the service was lacking, and ordering food and drinks was a hassle as it could only be done through the app or website. The restaurant appeared to be relatively clean. The food was decent, but overall, I would not recommend dining here.

I must mention that the plates, bowls, and cutlery at this restaurant are extremely dirty, with old bits of food and sauce stuck to most of them. We had to search through many plates and bowls to find a clean one. Even my son was disgusted and questioned if his plate was clean. He was worried about getting sick from the unclean dishes. The cutlery I received was also dirty, with old bits of food stuck on them, so I had to ask for clean cutlery. Despite wanting to leave right away, my children were eager to eat from the buffet. The pizzas were good, but they were slow to replace the ones on the buffet. I am curious to see how many people will get sick from this unclean environment. I would not recommend eating here. In summary, it was a shocking experience.

We had the buffet. Food was gorgeous, absolutely loved the creamy pasta. Great price and outstanding customer service. Thank you.

The staff doesn’t care about the Clint very rude service drinks was served and take back as we had ordered pizza and was told that they can’t serve if there is just 1 meal .staff need to get proper training to take order and serve the customer in a proper manner.it was really annoying to dine with the family.staff saying that they have no license to serve alcohol in the restaurants what a shame if the restaurant not having license but still serving Alcohol .need to upgrade the app for alcohol orders
