Bidrage med feedbackWhat an experience. this island is really amazing, a beautifully curated garden with so many plants, flowers, trees, ponds and laid away that connect them. the tour was made by a really funny and relaxed guy who created such positive vibes and explained the incredible history of this island in detail. after the tour, which takes about 40 minutes, they have time to explore the island itself and in my case more pictures. in the did they are not really aware that the many people who are on the island at the same time as they are spread on the many. they need to book their slot online in advance, either tomorrow or the afternoon. they reach the island with the ferry running around 18 o'clock. the experience includes a three courses dinner with accompanied weeps is the subscript court the fish soup that the wife of the owner and greener the gardens actually cooked for their guests when the island was not open for the public, but many years ago it is delicious. the dinner is in the newly built greenhouse, which houses all plants in winter. we really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

I went to Flor og Fjære from my work. This is a man made tropical gardens on an island of Sør-Hidle outside of Stavanger, Norway. It is open for tourists from beginning of May until the end of September (according to the infirmary on their website) You can buy the tickets using their website and also mention your dietary requirements(if any) this tour is a package tour, the package includes to and fro boat trip, guided island tour and lunch or dinner depending on the timings you choose. The boat departs from Bekhuskaien, near Fiskepirterminalen (the boat terminal) in Stavanger. We went in the evening in the beginning of June 2022. Boat arrived and we had to show the tickets at the entrance of the boat. The seats are comfortable, there are toilets on the boat. The boat trip takes approximately 20 mins. As soon as you disembark the boat, a guide will welcome you and give you a guided tour of the island. Our guide for the evening was called Siri, she was a lovely lady and gave us all the informations about the island, about our evening and guided us through the island. It is a very beautiful place with lots of plants, flowers, breathtaking and colourful sceneries. You will enjoy the landscape of the garden and the beauty of it. After the guided tour of the island we were taken to the newly built restaurant which is beautiful, huge and it takes you to a magical world with so much nature inside the restaurant. There is a waterfall, an olive tree, lots of flowers and it is very beautiful. Our tables were ready and it was very well organised. As it was from the work we had a huge room for ourselves. We had some drinks and starters. Then the chef came to the room where we were seated to welcome us and explained about the menu, how the food was prepared. Then the food was served, we had starters, main course and dessert and coffee, tea. I am vegetarian so had special vegetarian food served and it was yummy. I loved the food. After the yummy dinner we strolled around the garden and took lots of pictures. Our boat arrived at 9.30 pm and reached Stavanger around 10.00 pm. The weather was gorgeous and we have daylight till almost midnight. It was a beautiful day. I would recommend this to to anyone who enjoys being in nature, want to celebrate, go with family. There are toilets, bar, outside seating area and pets are allowed as well. You can borrow the umbrella if it starts raining. If you are physically unable to walk, you can also bring your own wheel chair. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It was a very memorable trip for me and I loved and enjoyed every bit of the trip to Flor og Fjære. Thank you
What a wonderful experience on this island paradise. a real certificate for the norweger is the ingenious and love for the country. a remarkable place full of cheerful beauty in each row.
This place is really very remarkable. have never seen so many colorful flowers on a place! that was easy to eat, but delicious. the price is crazy expensive and I would never pay personally (160 eur, but I was there with a work trip. the one that is disappointed, but I feel that the place can really not be good for the environment! With all these summer flowers plant every year and sometimes they need to take care of them in water. Perhaps a sustainable plant style would be better.
