The Pirate's Boil - Smyrna

I arrived and was floored by how wonderful the ambiance was. The music is fantastic and I frequently visit Juicy Crab and I can honestly say the food is better here at the Pirates Boil. They definitely give you more food to make up for the more expensive price.Side note the servers are nice but should smile more. They look like they are just here to pass out food and go! I am a server and bartender myself and I must say a happy face goes a long way!

Despite the food . It was raining this day . We’re seated by the restroom . As we’re eating our food . We noticed that we felt light rain drops on our arms . So we called management to inform him that there was a leak and he was so clueless didn’t offer to move us or nothing just offered us 20% off our bill . PLEASE DONT SEAT IN THE BOOTH BY THE RESTROOM .Parking: In front of the restaurant not a long walk

The food was good. The service was slow but fine. As we were leaving, I went to the restroom to find it in complete shambles and unusable. If I saw the restroom first, I would not have eaten there bc I worry about the hand hygiene of staff that leave a restroom in this condition.

Could be more attentive! I get it foods expensive and tips at a minimum will be nice. Metal silverware would be nice. We get the strange bag and glove thing. But please don’t make people pay for crab and other expensive items without affording them a way to eat what they pay for!

I ordered the Make Your Own Boil with crayfish and clams. Since I was there alone, this was a great option because of getting what I wanted. Also, I had two local beers that I liked. I do wish they had dessert.
