Steak 'n Shake - Smyrna

Server was excellent. Food came out pretty quickly. Hot delicious. Onion rings were really good. Omg, chocolate shake was soo good. We haven't been to Steak and shake in a while. This was a late night drop in for food kinda night. Male server was really professional and helpful. He made sure we were straight. Free parking

Free fries for the asking at the location on Cobb Parkway that we visited. We also got our shakes for half price on a Wednesday afternoon during a happy hour that we didn 't know about. So for a little more that 3 bucks we got two shakes and two fries. I would have given 5 stars however the person of the drive through said that we didn 't ask for the fries but she would let us 'Have them anyway '. We asked for them twice and the drive through order taker asked how many of us were in the car so we didn 't understand her questioning us. We even heard someone in the background confirm that we had asked for the fries. Despite that I gave it 4 stars for the value.

I visited the Cobb Pkwy location. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building but it moved quickly. The food was hot. My only complaint was the fries. I asked for no salt well done. I was given no salt, greasy, and barely done fries; hence why I didn't give 5 stars.

I got the garlic burger as well as the melt for my fiance along with a shake. Shake was a little loose for my taste but the garlic burger saved the day for me. My fiance felt like the melt was too great and the patty needed to be a bit thicker to counteract that along with there seemed to be no presence of onions which was what she was looking forward to. Needless to say we swapped burgers half way through to save my fiance desire.
