All of the appetizers and desserts are frozen and prepackaged; even the chicken is stored in an unappetizing way. The rice cooks all day, and you definitely wouldn't want to know how long the ingredients for the salads and soups have been sitting around. The only truly fresh option is the sushi, but the chefs rotate frequently, leading to inconsistent quality. Once, I received a sushi roll topped with an entire fried crab claw! Overall, the food just isn't great. The hibachi experience is particularly lackluster—it's better to choose a restaurant that specializes in hibachi instead. Everything else tends to taste off, with unusual textures. While the service is generally good, the manager can be quite rude. And a word of caution: if you visit on your birthday, be prepared to pay for a cake you didn't even request!
