Harvester The Montagu Arms - Slough

I ordered the fish and chips at this restaurant. The standout of the dish was definitely the mushy peas. However, I found the cod to be lacking in seasoning and a bit greasy. The chips were also severely under seasoned. The salad bar was very disappointing, with wilted iceberg lettuce that had brown edges.

I prefer my steak well-done and the chef consistently delivers! It's perfectly charred without being tough. My friends tried the spicy glazed pork belly and loved it. There were a bit too many fries, but it's better than not enough. It was a busy family night, but the staff took good care of us.
