The pub is good, but I wouldn't classify it as a gastro pub. However, the food is delicious.

While in Sligo, I was so enamored with the restaurant that I didn't want to leave for the entirety of my visit.

The bar staff and waiters are lovely. Very helpful and knowledgeable but the food was mediocre. I must say the chicken wings for starter was amazing, but I'm extremely disappointed with my mains. I ordered chicken carbonara, the chicken was dry and didn't taste nice, like it was cooked few days ago and just reheated to order, the pasta itself was cold on the outside and hot in the middle so basically it was microwaved... Very disappointed with the chefs performance. Definitely something needs to be done about the kitchen because the quality of food is not satisfactory.

A busy spot, we were booked for a 40th birthday, and they stuck us at a random bar table, which was not very comfortable but the food itself tasted good
