Yellowtail Sushi Grill - Slidell

UPDATE! Tuesday, 11. September 2018! Tonight We ordered sushi rolls again! Yellowtail can't keep us away too long! we have the Cajun role, delicious and perfectly spicy as always! We also tried a new role tonight, the Filet Mignon role, with supposed fillet top and added boiled shrimps. It tasted like candy! Its definitely a roll climbing to the top of the favorite list! We exchanged it and got the kids the New York Strip Hibachi dinner, but I think my wife and I ate half of it!! Our delivery order came tonight with a nice surprise from someone in the restaurant, including a note that thank me for the fantastic Google Reviews! I was blown away from the gesture, and to whomever you are for the note and the card, really, thank you!!! You're great! It was our night! UPDATE! Saturday, 25. August 2018!!! My wife and I are on a Sushi Bender and Yellowtail Sushi and Grille is the best place for any sushi roll, sashimi or chicken and steak dishes throughout the city Slidell! Today we have the Sexy lady roll in a seaweed. It comes with spicy tuna, snow crabs and avocado in the role. It is covered with tuna, salmon, scaling, spicy Mayo and aal sauce. We also have the Cajun Roll that has snow crabs and crusts in the role and is deep fried. It is covered with spicy Mayo and Eel sauce. We added crabs and cooked shrimps to this role and it was honestly the best tasting role I've ever tried! And of course you can't forget the roasted gyoza, they are always delicious and perfectly roasted. *8/20/18 We ordered our food for the first time for the start of here, but the Yellowtail Sushi and Hibachi Esserei looks like a very well maintained Hibachi and Sushi restaurant with great lighting and a fantastic dining atmosphere. My family and I ordered the chicken Hibachi dinner that came with fried rice, vegetables, a cucumber and iceberg salad with ginger dress and a bowl of soup. We ordered a Tempoura sushi roll called "ThunderDome" garnished with spicy shredded cancer tail and fish eggs. The “I-12” sushi roll was beautiful and refreshing, filled with real crabs and cream cheese and topped with Diced avocado and fillets of shrimp. Both roles were phenomenal. The miso soup was authentic and homemade and delivered the perfect taste of soy and seaweed. The Teppanyaki/hibachi, sushi roles and the sashimi and service were all excellent!! Thank you. Yellowtail for the ingenious seafood!

This our second time to come to this place and every time had a wonderful experience. Staff friendly and attentive, will give recommendations based on what you want. The atmosphere was good. Have many other sushi places tried and that was by far the best. Sushi was delicious, great cuts of Sashimi and for what we have great price. It'll be safe.

I ordered baked salmon app., snow crab naruto, shrimp teriyaki and vanilla roasted ice cream. They were all good.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food! The Nola role was amazing!!! Will eat there again!

It's a small place but has great food and sushi. I had the salmon scallop lunch and slidell roll. Service was good and the food was excellent. Definitely one of the top sushi places in Slidell.
