Bidrage med feedbackFirst, the number of ratings intended for the OTHER location is annoying, it is over half of them. Please make sure you write a review for the Touhy Fruity in the HIP MALL. Anyway, this place has GREAT food. The spicy ram and shrimp springs roll hard. Bubble tea is delicious. However, service takes FOREVER. I called 3 articles, came 20 minutes later, as they said, and I had to wait 10-15 more. Whenever I'm on my break (I work in this mall) and get a bubble tea, I spend my half break just waiting. Could also go down to FroYo Square 2 stands if I wanted faster service. If the problem is understaffed, why not just hire more people? I didn't see a rental sign anywhere. This is said, though slowly, the staff are friendly. The girl with red/orangen hair, who announces cilantro in a Spanish accent, is my favorite. Super friendly, very appealing, very cool. Like the guy who was in his late 20s, 30s, pale, facial hair, maybe was a cook? I only saw him once, but I liked his attitude and the way he spoke to me as commands seemed to mix. Not a fan of the older man who works here. He made things a little complicated when I asked him for a mall employee discount, he said Oh, we don't do that anymore. No one does it? This mall did this for JAHRE, what are you talking about? At once we stopped? I feel he was lying. When I looked at the other employee, they also looked at him strangely, confirming my suspicion. When they presented my order, he seemed to mix things and confuse them all, including me, the person who order MADE. I won't order if I see this man behind the counter again. Overall, very good furnishings, unfortunately some Hiccups here and there. I hope the problem of slow services is eventually resolved.
So... where you start. As an ex-manager for this facility, I feel really bad for my old employees. Because the owner Kelly runs this place like a dictator. I had several complaints from current workers and even new ones as they treated them. Example: You must not have lunch. They are paid under minimum wages I choose to go) and is very discriminatory who wants to rent them. If you're a man, you don't expect to be hired. If your teenage girl is hired because of the look and not because of the experience. Not only this, but it will make you break the health appointments and if you 't them then shorten them hours because you 't commit to her I'm currently trying to see what I can do to pay my back in all the time she owes me....You do NOT PAYING ALSO SHE STEALEN TIPS FROM EMPLOYE to you. Because you're being picked and yelled before the customers. I am by no means an dishonest or injured ex-employe just wanted to share some insights behind the scenes
This food kiosk is one of the best maintained secrets in the HIP-Mall. Are you bored by fried food? Tired of sandwiches or pizza? Don't look. Touhy Fruity has you. I went from this place a whole year and thought it was a Boba/Smoothie café. When I waited for my food next door, I came looking at her menu on the wall. My jaw has fallen and my prayers have been answered! Holy FRESH and SPICY-Ramen! I'm in love with the Spicy Korean Ramen, and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. For the rams: Make sure you get the rams with pork. You get your choice of protein. I feel like the pig adds a nice taste and works well with all the fresh vegetables that come with it. Also make sure when you order to tell them if it is to eat in the food dish, take to your break room or take home. That tells them how to grab the rams. When you take it home, they will put the broth in a separate container of your bowl pasta, meat and vegetables. If you take it in your break room, they might ask you how to pack it. Either the way I just mentioned, or they'll put everything in the bowl so you can eat it right away when you get back to your break room. Again with the rams, make sure you get the roasted garlic and lime. Make sure you use both in your ramen. You have red pepper flakes and Sriracha sauce you can also ask. Ask for hacksticks if you are a fan. I can't enjoy my ramen without her. The employees will not put them in your pocket, so you need to ask nicely, and they will give you some. Just make sure not to stab your food, and always rest your chiffel on the side of the bowl. Don't rest in a bowl like you might have a spoon! For the shrimp spring rolls. You are the best value considering how often you were at the food court and have bought food where you got too much and you were not so hungry. These spring rolls are healthy and they are the perfect snack or lite meal to keep you until the end of your shift. If you order, they will ask if you want peanut sauce or sweet and sour sauce. I suggest the peanut sauce. I also like hoisin sauce. You won't pack it with this appetizer, but you can ask for it. It is very delicious and fun to change between this and the peanut sauce for diving. I was here several times, and I just don't remember always checking in. Call ahead if you don't have much time to eat. The ramen takes about 20 minutes to pack it together and as beautiful as they do. I feel serious like VIP when I take away my food from there in the sturdy paper bag, with the food in their containers secured and further protected in plastic bags, so that everything remains dry, the main container should leak what never happens! The staff is very friendly! If Ramen isn't your thing, they have the Boba teas and the smoothies. Look at her salads too! I leave here happy all the time! Give Touhy Fruity a try!
I ordered a milk tea over ice. It was so disgusting that I threw the whole drink away. it was overly sweet... I love sweet, but that was WAAAAY too sweet. the tapioca was basically rubber. The whole drink was so disgusting. I was wasting my six dollars. I love milk tea and this is by far the worst I've ever had. I'm still not about how terrible it felt to chew on her tapioca. the taste was also so bland, everything I tasted was sugar. coarse. I wanted to support them because they're new to food, but never again. the staff was nice when that makes a difference.
Currently in the food court. I decided to give this place a try. I was very impressed by the spring roll. It was wrapped tightly and well made. It was a nice, light lunch as opposed to all of the other options in the food court. There's fried onion or crispy onion. The girl let me get one of each. I don't know which one was which but the crispy crumbs added a lot of flavor which I liked. We got two bubble tea drinks. I got regular sweetness for hubs and less sweet for mine. They were both too sweet. I'm sure both were probably powder. I didn't mind the milk tea one but I thought his horchata one tasted gross. I will probably try the other things when we go back to normal and eat out more.
