La vieille auberge is a restaurant of French gastronomy with local products and homemade. it is located 8 km from the city of melun in the region Seine-et-Marne and the autobahn a5. the dining room is warm and in rural style and friendly. the places are limited. it is advisable to book there for dinner and especially on Friday night. the service is fast and will be experienced by a team already in the hurry. the restaurant has a few parking spaces. since 13 years the kitchen is in the hands of the chief owner and his wife. the dishes are always delicious and are made with fresh and local products. even some drinks are made before site. there is nothing to say about the value for money.

Wonderful restaurant. friendly and competent service, elegant and pleasant terrace and fantastic courses. the cheese plate was amazing.

We have booked this restaurant for a day trip to Vaux-le-Vicomte. we visited the castle before lunch and went to lunch in this restaurant. it is about 10-15 minutes drive, but it is worth it. eating was excellent, good portioning and very attentive service. they have. a 3 cursor menu for 17€, which is very good value for money. it is worth going out of the castle grounds to enjoy this lunch. back after the meal to visit the gardens. great day.

Un restaurant qui propose des plats goûteux élaborés à partir d'ingrédients frais et simples. J'ai opté pour 2 entrées : les lasagnes d'aubergines et l'oeuf poché accompagné d'un toast de chèvre entouré de lard. Nous avons mangé à l'extérieur à l'ombre près d'une petite fontaine. Le cadre est très agréable. Dommage pour les tables et chaises en plastique qui font un peu tache. Le personnel n'est pas très agréable.
