Tavern Edem - Sisi

One of the must visit restaurants in Sissi. Huge portions of very good food, at a reasonable price. I am rarely disappointed with restaurants in Crete, the standards are very high for the price. Edam stands out as a restaurant that you must try if you are in Sissi. The gyros had very tender pork with good flavour. The mousaka had a very light bechamel sauce and great flavour to the lamb. Staff were very friendly and unobtrusive but easy to get their attention when you needed too

The operator was very, very friendly. English is not his strong point. But this is not a problem. The food was very good. And you also get dessert. The raki was really strong.
