Bidrage med feedbackAfter 7 nights of eating nothing but pizza and pasta in Italy for both lunch and dinner,my husband and I were looking for something we’d have for lunch back home. We wanted something light, something that didn’t leave you feeling bagged up. Approaching this place from the Ocelle Hotel, its located past the Erica restaurants the right, then turning right at the petrol station. You head down the road leading to some shops and this place is on the right hand side at the end and is cheap as chips. They do pasta, pizzas, meat dishes and paninis with various toppings, we went for the breaded chicken panini with lettuce, mayo and tomato sauce. It was really tasty and light, exactly what we wanted and cost only €20 for 2 paninis, 1 beer, 1 iced tea, 2 ice creams so well worth the money. My only regret is that we found this place on our last day typical! Could’ve saved our wallets and waistline’s a good bit of damage!
Tripped over La Chiccheria by trying to avoid the tourist hordes. We just needed a good coffee and somewhere quiet. Lovely little cafe that is immaculately clean, swift pleasant service, excellent coffee. We just had panini and rolls but all the food looks good. We returned for coffees and drinks three times and always enjoyed being at this unpretentious little cafe/bar. Does what it says on the tin.
Away from the over crowded and often overpriced restaurants of the Old Town of Sirmione, this quiet unpretentious but spotlessly clean little cafe a short stroll outside the entrance to the Old Town in an arcade of shops and cafes below the Baia Blu Hotel gave us a fantastic value snack lunch which was just what we needed very tasty freshly cooked pizzas with coffee and lager will certainly go back for lunch again.
